Repair do not replace water heater

Repair, do not replace water heater! Some companies will try to sell you a new water heater , by telling you that it is leaking. In reality it may be only the fittings on top of the unit where the expansion tank is connected to the unit. By simply upgrading the fittings to brass or stainless the issue is gone. Way cheaper, faster and environmentally friendly. So true, it does leak but we can fix it!
